I think my smartest, most durable move will be to buy a factory shortblock from Ganley..... if i had time i could hunt out a factory engine with low mileage, but i would still be taking a gamble on that if it had some factory flaws too....

think honda will foot the bill for the flow problem???

if your car is under warranty, maybe. if its not, then no, because the oil jet bolts is not a TSB in america.

I'd go for a replacement shortblock, then resleeve the old motor for next season.

I noticed today that Ganley's selling brand new F22 longblocks for $3995. Seems pretty reasonable. He's also got '04 pumpkins for 1k.

the F22 requires me to go up another 100 or 150lbs for some reason... not sure why..... the F22 is probably not any faster around the track than a F20....... stupid NASA rules..... they are just trying to put the white man down!

Good idea about getting my current engine prepped for next year.

You can blame Karner for that. The FWD B-boys in power don't like getting womped by a car weighing 400 lbs more with the same wheel hp, so they added more weight (which will make it even more humiliating )

yeah zoolander's an asshat. So he stole a 150 lbs from scot! I'm gonna start a thread about that!

Ripped off again by him!

Scot - www.haprecycling.com will sell you a new (junkyard) motor for closer to $2500. Personally tho I'd just get the new short block from Jeff.
