Default Oil thru Vacuum line?

I have a catchcan on my PCV but recently I'm getting oil thru the vacuum line.. some of runs back down into the airbox

How can it happen that oil is passing the wrong way down the vacuum line and is it safe to just plum it to the catchcan vented and plug up the hole in the intake pipe?

from what I've come to understand, the baffling in the AP1 valve cover causes oil to build up and when you go into a turn the oil sloshes into the fresh air inlet causing oil to enter the intake snorkle (as long as that's what you meant by vacuum line??)

I mean now the oil is coming thru the pipes at the front of the valve cover not the PCV

its enterring the intake tube and some is running back down into the intake box

A lot of people Y the Pipe from the PVC and the one in front of the valve cover, into the catch can. Alternatively, I've seen a small filter attached as well to vent the crank case.

yep, that's what I thought. I have my can routed like yours, but I'm planning on removing it from that route and running it on the vacuum side. There's a thread around here somewhere about catch can routing and whatnot where I learned a couple things
