Optimal TT Wing

Ah very interesting, it didn't even occur to me to vent the hood despite already taking the hit for it on points. As I currently have the mods on the car, I would have enough to run a front splitter, and still run a slick tire. So given my current point standings, it seems that I should maximize on available downforce front and rear
AP1- 14 Asterisk Points
Hoosier R7- 10 points
Intake- 1 point
Shocks- 3 points
Springs- 2 points
Sway Bar- 2 points
Splitter- 3 points
Wing- 4 points
Total: 39 points
I've been interested in maximizing the NASA TT wing rules as well. All I see is it can't be wider than the body (anyone have an exact number for that? Google says 68.9" and I'm not sure if this includes mirrors, or if the TT rules count that), the wing can't be more than 8" above the roof and the endplates must be under 12" tall.
Am I overlooking any rules about how far rearwards the wing can be placed, or maximum chord length?

Wings that are placed too far rearward will help unload the front if its taken too far. This sounds like what what Mr Poi has run into. His wing is also much more effective with being that high up above the car.
The GTC-200 also works fine without front aero.
I have a Kognition now and I can't get the car to stop understeering even changing springs etc its definitely a better wing but seems to be too much for an NA car

It took zero AoA and a serious rear sway bar for me to finally tune out the understeer with my GT-250 wing. I drove a TTC S2000 this weekend with the GTC-200, and it definitely understeered more than I would want at the limit. I gave him my recommendation of more rear bar or more rear spring rate.
Most guys don't have the points to run a front splitter in TTC. I have the APR GT-250 67" with deformed trunk and run in TT3. It look a lot of work to finally get the balance to the car with limited front aero (APR front bumper and hood vents). It is definitely a more cost effective wing than the more expensive 2D Voltex options although if trunk deformation is a concern, than the reinforcements they utilize might be worth it. I know Dysen and Wynn both run the 2D Voltex with Dysen running a wider version as he runs TTB with a large front splitter. You can see all three wings here:

Would you mind posting some pictures of your trunk? I noticed you have a relatively large mounting plate compared to the standard thin type that isn't much bigger than the footprint of the stand. Is that what comes with the S2000 specific GT-250?
Thanks
I have actually owned both as sadly, I am on my second APR GT-250 wing. I got the standard S2000 setup with the smaller bases and the shorter stands the first time. I damaged that wing in a wreck, and when I contacted them to purchase what I was hoping was just doing to be a main plane for cheap, I was informed that it would cost a bunch just for that, so I decided to upgrade to the wider bases and taller stands. I ordered both directly from APR through the NASA racer's discount program. I can tell you that at Road Atlanta for Global Time Attack when the car hit 157 mph and topped out 6th gear on the back straight there was enough force to bend the trunk such that the inside bolts were completely loose. The entire area around the base is dented in, but I don't see it getting any worse, and the wing works great. I will try to get some pics of the bases and the bend.

Damn, if you were to to it again would you go with the large base still? You see any reasonable way to reinforce or brace it up a bit to stop the deformation before it happens? I'm NA for now, top speed for me is ~125-130 max at the track I run on the long straight.
