Those aren't the wheels we ended up getting. The price should be in the low $2k range. Let me see if I can find a pic of the wheels. They're black centers, are 18x9 front and 18x10 rear. They won't work with stock shocks but will with most after market shocks w/ <~2.5" diameter springs.

That's good to know; probably means they seem light for their size, and probably are lighter than stock wheels having dot nonslicks tires.

Rylan/Dave,

You should rent them out at Sears this weekend (to cars that will fit), priced per lap. Might as well try to recoup some of you costs.

I would try them if you think they won't rub severely.

The slicks were extremely light, so with DOT tires the combo may not be lighter than stock.

The "Cinderella" cup went to the Smith and Arnold M3, meaning that it was the biggest surprise performer.

I would argue that this could easily have been a tie with, or gone to, Rylan's car (no disrespect to Dave's) because Rylan's car with a basically stock engine was beating the times of many cars with much more HP, including many of the cars in U1 and U2, plus the $160,000 Mosler Photon and Dearing's Viper in T1 even at Willow Springs! . Aaron B. did a sub1:30 lap at Willow, which is unbelievably fast for the big track.
(Prolene, I think the Mugen CF hardtop looked so slick that it scared the wind and added a few more mph on the straits! )

The S2000's all together surprized a lot of people and performed so well, and reliably too compared to all the other cars. Congratulations again to all the S2000 entries.
