Ideally yes, I want to drill the chassis for my sub-harness eye bolts, for now they're staying on the PCI mount until I can come up with another solution that I'm comfortable with without using the sliders.

Short guy problems.
I am also likely as short as you. Like I said, it can be done, but it's a pain.

Haha, yeah. Fortunately, there are areas to drill where the backing plates fit absolutely perfectly.

Show me.

Pretty sure you and I PM'd previously regarding PCI mounts.

Sorry for the terrible picture. As you can see, the side mounts get pushed as far forward and as far right as possible. Three bolts are stupid easy to get to like this.

The hard one is the front right. I ended up modifying the side mount a little bit (cut a tongue in the front, bend up, weld edges, really dirty hack) and used a button head allen. It sucks.

You give me hope. I knew it would require some hacking.

It's definitely not ideal, but if you find a better fixed mount please let me know, I would love to move a little more forward.

So this is only a shorter person issue?

Would you mind posting pictures of your belt mounting to the bracket?

Yes, below probably 32" inseam.

Which belt? Harnesses are using holes through the chassis with eyelets and backing plates. OEM belt is a pre-96 Mazda 626 rear belt bolted to the PCI mount (I plan on removing it when I have to take the seat out next).

OK so you went with eyelets/backing plates through the floor vs using the seat bracket and existing hole by the door where the OEM bolt mounts?

I am just trying to plan out how I am going to do this. A friend has the same brackets and used the non-clip attachments and went to the seat mount/existing hole.

The seat bracket is too far back for shorter people, based on angle requirements, but I didn't feel real comfortable mounting to there anyway as it is fairly flimsy. I did also use an eyelet + backing plate for the right hip strap.

I did use the existing hole by the door for the left hip strap... if you want to have the OEM belt and use an eyelet there it'll be very tight and you need to install it before bolting the seat mount down.

I’m currently installing a Cobra Imola Pro-Fit GT with the PCI fixed adjustable mounts and Schroth Profi 6pt harness. I’m about 5’7” so I’m starting to see how the sub belt mounting will be an issue. Surprisingly, my side mounts aren’t that far forward and covering the front bolts like some of you mentioned.
So far I’ve had an issue with the right rear bolt being covered by the seat mount. Not completely, but enough to have a hard time installing that right rear bolt. I also had to create another seat mounting hole in the rear. Seat is currently sitting on top of the side brackets in the rear. Oh, and trimming some of the seat, there’s that too!

Ive been taking plenty of pictures to document my install. Nearly no one has installed Cobra GT sized seats in the S..not much to go off of.
PCI bracket and side mounts have been great so far, very little modification compared to some other friends’ installs.
Next is to figure out what seat belt buckle to use..
