Default Polycarbonate Windows

Guys do any of you run polycarbonate or plexiglass windows in your cars?

A usefull weight saving over the stock glass and stronger too.

I have been looking into this for my car but the lack of a window frame means fitting and fixign is tricky- you have to have almost the same amount of material below the window opening to allow for a firm fixing (car has a OEM hardtop with a polycarbonate rear window btw)

Anyone done it or do you run netting or even just keep the std glass- I cant do that as it's already been thrown in the bin

Cheers

foz

Foz,

Whatever happened to the AP racing front BBK you were going to produce with the CP5200 calipers?

did you weigh your old glass? know how much it weighs, and how much weight are you saving using the polycarbonate?
I may be interested if it turns out lowering weight and looking good, just letting ya know in case your on the fence about deciding to retail or not
