there's nothing wrong with ferodo pads.
your choice of the compound was wrong for the application; therefore, they disintegrated. My friend's EK runs Ferodos (not your compound) and they're perfectly fine for track use.

well, for this application, should I be going with the 3000 or the 3500?
I am using OEM rotors.
Also, is there a caliper available that will allow me swap pads easily like with a wilwood or brembo setup, or do I have to do a massive upgrade. I just want swapping pads to be even quicker.

Unless you're running a w2w enduro event (10 hours + ) where pitstop comes into play, I fail to see how the stock calipers prevent you from a quick pad change.
If you have your stuff together, it shouldn't take longer than 10 mins per wheel and that's from the time you get the jack underneath the car to the time you finish torquing the wheel back on.
