Default Roll Bar

I need a roll bar to be able to run white group in HPDE.
Which one do you guys recommend for easy installation, good looking and value?
Not trying to make mine a race car ...simply want to pass inspection.

Thanks.

I notice that "safety" and "ability to use harnesses" is not on the list of criteria.

Seems like Cusco/Safety21 should fit the bill. Either that or the Harddog bar.

I was going to ask this same question but was afraid of some flaming for asking a question that has probably been asked 10000 times before.... So I'm glad you did.

Sooooooo. I'm having the same issue. I'm trying to decide what's the best bar for me. From what I can see, I think the Elda bar is probably the best choice but I can't get to their website so I don't even know if they're still available.

My car is a "street" car. I drive it ~2-3 times a week and I really care about how my car looks (Hence wash and wax badge and 19" HREs). However, aside from the big wheels there's nothing bling bling on my car. In fact I have Recaro SPGs and am shopping for some dedicated track wheels as we speak. I used to enjoy AutoXing my last S2000 and would like to start doing some HPDEs in this one. I also like to make runs to places like the Dragon where it is possible (God forbid) to go over the edge if you push too hard. So, roll over safety is a concern. I'll be running OMP harnesses of some type most likely.

Any thoughts? As far as I can tell, it's going to come down to Harddog or Elda. I'm 5'10", 160 lbs, with abnormally short legs and a long torso. I rarely carry a passenger and when I do she's only 5'2" 110lbs.

Dude, Elda all the way - just keep refreshing their site, it'll come back.

For all intents and purposes Elda rollbar = HardDog rollbar. Check out HardDog's site for the different bar configurations, buy one, put it in, and get on the track

Um yeah. I'm sure it will.

Don't let the fact that they have been out of business for about five years get in the way of those refresh clicks.

Wow really? So I guess I read the stickied post about them for no real reason. Does that make Harddog the only viable option?

I'm in eastern NC. Hertford area, about an hour from VA and the outerbanks. I'd love some insight, but I'm fully prepared for the intrusive install.

I guess sarcasm doesn't transmit well.
