Not stupid at all, it does rotate, but at its own pace based upon the friction of the silicone gel fluid it is suspended in.

got it. interesting idea.

so i assume that this sort of acts like a "dual mass" pulley as one section will rotate faster than the other until the viscus fluid solidifies enough to move the inner ring at the same speed. interesting. really interesting actually.

Just to follow up on my install.

I was at Buttonwillow this past weekend and it was really my first time driving the car once I had the damper installed. I can say that it definately feels different. Not day or night different but rather a subtle improvement in the smoothness as the revs increase. I notice it more in 1st gear tooling around the pits. Its pretty difficult to notice on track since I'm focused on other things but, for the piece of mind and the potential for added longevity, I'm all for it.

^^^ that makes two of us.

that along with an oil cooler, and one of those fancy radiators that mrsideways had fabbed up, and a rear BBK to save my hubs. I think that would complete the "reliability mods"

yup, this is like synthetic oil. Just more protection for your engine by reducing wear. Also frees up 1-5 HP based on dynes, again like Synthetic Oil over Dino Oil.

But I wouldnt buy it for gains as it is minimal, buy it to keep your car on track longer.

S2K Challengers shoot us an email.. Well help get you into these. They are in stock and will ship the next day.

What's the theory for the HP increase?
