I think they must remain oem and that would be connected with oem components. If it is disconnected then it is considered altered which you must take points (Edit: if it was PT or TT).

I think, as far as HC goes, instead of points you just add weight.

I'm just assuming, but as a factory prepped car, sway bars of approved origin, would have to be mounted and connected as per factory specifications.

to go a bit off topic.. but would it be possible to loose up a rear swaybar if say your bushings had deteriorated or it wasn't done up too tight?

just a possible solution to over steer and "square" tires. faster, I donno, it works better on a stock diff to keep the rear wheel down.
