I am always surprised people use S2000s to drag race. Not only is it a waste of the cars engineering, it is not a thrill in any shape or form.

Each to their own, but if drag racing is your preference, you are in the wrong car.
Disagree.

Curves are definitely more fun. But drag racing is fun as well, and you can make the S2000 into a decent dual purpose car without too much effort/money. Obviously not stock, but much cheaper than most anything else that can compete in every category.

Sure, building it to be good at both probably means it won't be the best at either... but still damn good... and that is good enough for me.
