You don't have to remove the dash It just takes a little ingenuity (and some duct tape). A small ratchet with a 1/4" socket, a t30 drill bit, and a 1/4" drive drill bit extension. The space is very cramped, so I duct taped the t30 bit to the extension. Once you work your fingers in there and get it on the head of the screw, you can use the ratchet to loosen it. You will have to cram 2 fingers in to hold the socket while you loosen it. You can count on scraping a few knuckles on the sharp edges of the plastic around where the radio used to be. I had to use a magnet to fish out the back left screw, but the whole process only took 5 minutes once I found the right combination of tools.

Not very much most likely. Remembering when I removed mine from my 5R Teggy, it wasn't must at all. Though, when going for an all out track car, you get rid of whatever is not needed and obviously that is not needed when the SRS units have already been removed.
