never heard of vtec kicking in at 5000rpms in our cars. hummm unless it was lowered....

and it's more then just climate.. hehehe.. also oil tempreture, air flow, throttle position... lots of differnt factors..

mine usually kicks in around 5800 to 6100...

and i would hate to live in the mile high city of denver hahahah. vtec kicking in at close to 7000rpms... poor souls...

 

ohhh.. and yes you're right.. one launch will blow it hehehehe...

 

their was a thread about it. someones kicked in at 5100 or 5300rpm. Ive heard of 6100 for the highest also.

 

I agree, but it sure ain't an R&C thread either. xv, you're a great guy, but I wish you'd read the R&C posting rules so you know what not to throw our way.

 

Mine kicks in at 5,100 . But then we discovered that it wasnt kiking in at all.

 

I didn't put it there. I put it into S2000 Talk. Another mod put it where it is now. Probably someone with way more seniority than me.
