Gotta thank the wifey for helping me collect hot pit and paddock data! These temps were taken without cool down.
Tires were ran at 30 PSI cold, square.

Cant wait to go back. however the south east region kinda lost its fun factor when compared to central region. I was told I couldn't have a Passenger because it could be beneficial for weight distribution even after requesting to be DQ'd that session. I think if I head back to Road atlanta I'll go to Gridlife instead of NASA SE. We were not happy with the camaraderie in that region as countless people came up to look at the car as we would walk away from our pit and say nothing to me under the rear of the car pulling the Diff as I see feet walk up under my hood then walk off without so much as a "hello." Of course the s2k community was great. Met a few guys in HPDE. Wished I could have caught up with Joel Morrison as I kept seeing his TT4 S2k ahead of me on the grid! Hopefully we'll get the diff rebuilt with some upgrades before heartland park in May. Quick view of lap timer @2:49

Don't judge the Southeast region off one event. They probably didn't want to bother you. I hate that passenger rules vary so much region to region. I have taken students out in TT sessions in multiple regions and not been DQed. It's also why I kind of like the smaller NOLA and Mid South regions. Normally they only let instructors take people out now, but if you were instructing you should have been able to take a passenger out in a DE4 session. I know some of the Facebook S2K GA group got pictures of your car and said it looked and sounded amazing. Sucks that you, Joel, and Ryan (TTC S2000) couldn't all get paddocked together and help each other. Joel definitely knows the fast way around Road Atlanta. If you come to Gridlife South I definitely want to hang out. Would be nice if we could get a big S2000 paddock together. Devin and I were on opposite ends last year.

Peanut Gallery Comment:

You have just about every inch of the intake gold wrapped, header is wrapped too. Clearly you care about heat, why are you sucking intake air directly behind the radiator? That's gotta be towards the top of the list of hotter places in the engine bay.

Ry,
Whats up man, how is your season going, still racing STU?

Yes, I ran out of room. There wasn't enough space to immediately turn it and not touch the radiator so I just ran duct from the J's racing bumper duct and the filter sits right under the trackspec hood vent. I think it is getting enough airflow to keep temps down. In a perfect world I would have encased the filter in carbon and ran duct straight to the bumper but intake temps are ambient so I didn't spend the time trying to build one. Also the car was turbo'd prior so this v-mount setup is partly carried over to this SC setup.
