Shocks upgrade?

Good point. Shocks are primarily for slaloms.

However... with custom valving, you can make the shocks compensate for some spring and bar problems. This is not the right way to solve the problem, but in stock class you don't have the ability to change rear bar or springs. This is not a tool for the technically challenged (I didn't say mechanically challengend) as this involves serious knowledge of your car's behaviour, its desired behaviour and vehicle dynamics.

The idea here is to build a lot of super low speed force and make the shock move so slowly that steady state is not really achieved on the autocross course. When I say a lot of force... I mean a LOT of force. A cubic buttload if you fancy the term. This has its disadvantages, namely on bumpy courses the shocks don't do their regular job (keeping the tire on the ground) very well.

All that said, springs and bars are the right way to tune the car. In stock class, start with the front bar and then progress to shocks.
