I tried the iblue I got last week and put it in the cup holder and it worked great. I tried putting it in the top part of the secret compartment and the phone lost connection with it. any other ideas on where to put the gps unit would be great.

I mounted mine on top of the driver side roll hoop using velcro. It has always worked reliably in this position. You just have to be careful when taking it off as the velcro is on the battery cover which sometimes comes off.

As for accuracy Harry says the 2ft reported on screen is not real. However, when used side by side with my friend's iPhone internal GPS it was obvious during the course walks that the iBlue was more accurate. We did two walks setting GPS points on the first. On the second my beeps for POIs would be right where I set them and his would some times be 10 to 20 ft early or late. Basically it felt like his was bouncing all around the POIs as we walked past them. This is only anecdotal, but we set about 10 points on the course and they all appeared off on my friends iPhone internal GPS. Another data point is that the start GPS point was about 15 feet in front of the car at the last event and it never had an early/false start with the iBlue GPS.

BTW I put my iBlue GPS inside my hat during course walks.

Thanks rob. I need to learn how to set the poi, I tried at the last event but I guess you have to make a track and then set them. I need to get on harrys and read how. I was manually starting/stopping mine at the last event

rob will you explain to me how to add poi? I get you click on the + on the map page to make the first one but after I make one and go back to the map page and click the + again it says "no new poi, theres a near by one called XXX" and it doesn't make another one. I feel stupid but I really cant figure it out. Also how do you make the inerval ones, are they just "information poi" or what?

thanks
josh

It simple.. go to the map view. click the +flag to add a POI. At the bottom set the trigger to Stop/Go or Stop or Go depending on what you want. Then click on Map. You should see your POI and you should be able to move it by dragging the flag. Click the +flag to add another POI, etc.

Yea I "get" that but it keeps saying "theres no new poi but "bla bla" is close". You click open and it takes you to the one you just made.

I figured it out, If my POI was "close" to my first POI it would give me this message..

Although if I dragged the line somewhere and then hit the add button it would make a new one such as..

So basicly if the start and stop are close to eachother, you get the message above when you try to make a new POI. So I guess I'll have to move a point away from where it started at then walk over to that location where it goes, hit the find me button and replace that point.

This is as close as I could the points together while still being able to make a new point. I walked it off and it's roughly 38 yards.

as you can see here I can then move them closer together..

I guess everytime I tried to make a new point I was to close to the last point.
