After a few years of fighting with the bolts to mount my APR splitter, I have change the way I remove it. I permanently mounted it to the bumper and now I remove the bumper and splitter as a single piece when I need access. The under panels are no longer connected to the bumper. So now it takes a few minutes to pull the assembly or reinstall it.. Used to take far to long to get the bolts to catch the blind nuts on the under panel.

I purchased longer 1/2 inch longer bolts at Ace Hardware to make this easier. I added two two connection points at the rear-center of the splitter so I couldn't do the one piece nose thing but that does sound like a pretty good idea.

You can see the support beams connecting the square tubing of the splitter to the radiator surround and forward frame rails in the picture below. Uses the holes covered up by the stock plastic airdam which is now removed. I also used the two M6 bolt locations on each side of the radiator support on the underside of the car to attach the center section of the splitter directly.

Two more crappy underside views. Center extends to just around the front central jacking point near the front axle centerline.
