There really haven't been any real TTC builds outside of a S2K that I've seen really in a while. Also, it was a firebird or vette or something that won the WCC. not a S2K....

Hard for an S2000 to win TTC when none showed up. David Schotz has won many championships and can win in just about anything. If there is one car that can run in more classes and be more successful than an S2000, it is a Corvette. He won TTB in a Firebird last year and this year.

Sit down and do the Math on a GTi. I figure that car can EASILY win TTE, TTD, TTC, and TTB if you built it right.

Which GTI would you pick and why a GTI over another 4 door FWD turbo car?

The last gen (the gen they ran in Grand am) has a Crazy soft base class. On paper I basically ran out of things to do to it on points and was in D with like 10 points to spare. And that was making B hp. You could run Michelin Blues on the thing with so many points left over. Anyone who says they can't run quick laps, look at what APR did in Grand Am with em. And that was on Shit tires. Imagine 275 A7's on the front. Plus you get the modifier for 4 door and fwd. Same weight as an S2000 the GTI could make IIRC like 80 more hp and that doesn't include TQ which you know would be probably 50 more then that. Anyway with the NUMBERS classes the GTI goes out the window. I raced a GTI at homestead, This car had a 40mm restrictor on the turbo and was limited to 220whp. I had 211hp at the time.

And S2000 owners get the Shaft with the rules update. Time to Buy a Base Trim Model car that has built in Canards.

I think it's more of a principle thing at this point.... and the fact that I'm irritated that I JUST spent a day putting mine on and building a splitter for it.

I know the feeling, as I am selling mine now as well, but it is what it is.

When are you coming to the Texas Region?

It's more of a time thing. I run the business so every day away is kinda expensive, Texas would require Friday and Monday off and for a non-national event I just can't justify that.
