Well, when you going to NOLA then, that's like next door to you. No excuses

I could do Nola, IIRC it's like 10 hrs so I could leave afterwork friday and get up there about 4am. Not appealing but do able.

Couple years back before owning the business and kids , no problem. I towed the Mini all the way out to Nasa Nationals in Salt Lake City. I was gone nearly 2 weeks for that. Can't do that stuff anymore.

I'm mostly excited for the protests that need to occur on OEM bumpers that have molded in "canard style" elements.

Granted noen of this stuff is really pertinent to me up in ST/TT2, but I really think NASA needs to adapt the proposal/committee system. I've never been happy that it is one person, supposedly gathering all the details, input, etc making the decisions. At the very least I think you need to release the email input, even scrubbed of member details. It just wreaks of Greg going in with an idea, asking 2 or 3 people around him, and then running with it. VERY seldom will he cave within in a reasonable time-frame to the general uproar of his rules changes. It's a thankless job, but it can be done better. Yes, the proposal/committee process will slow down rules changes (good and bad), but it needs to be done.

I just want rules stability at this point. I'm still pissed I had to go from 9:1 to 10:1 in TT3.

I'm sure it's totally a coincidence that the e36 M3s were offered different aero rules than everyone else. And it seems like anyone who questions the rules isn't met with a real answer. A lot of good ideas were offered regarding the CR lip, all were ignored on the forums. I don't even have anything to gain or lose in that argument, just sitting back and watching.

I'm more disappointed that he's already openly saying he's going to screw the s2000 in TT5, or is talking about making TT5 a 15:1 class. Wasn't that the point of the power:weight classes, that it doesn't matter how you get there, as long as that's where you end up? Seems like a heck of a jump from TT4 to TT5.
