I was running the 280 yoko slick on sunday. Until sunday neither dave or I knew a 280 existed in a 650 height. So from now on I'll run a 250/280 w/ the yokos.

When we spec'd out the wheels we waffled between two combos... a 9" + 10" combo or a 9.5" + 10.5" combo. We decided to play it safe and go with smaller widths.

That's a lot of tire.

How does the car feel with those fat meats all around?

Since we're gabbin' tires - Richard, what did you think of your Michelin PSC's? Your laptimes would indicate they were pretty damn grippy. But aren't those $200+ each?

I used RA-1's for the first time this past weekend and loved it. Before that, I was on PSC's. Like everyone else says, my experience has been that PSC's seem to last, but take time to heat up.

The RA-1's look like the PSC's after just one track day, whereas the PSC's have seen 4.

The PSC's cost me almost $1K shipped. RA-1's were $300 cheaper.
