The one thing that is a potential gotcha is that these are not sliding adjusters. They are rotating adjust which will affect caster and that is not legal. I had not thought of that until I saw Jason Rhodes quote.
Let me repeat it for the 4th time: THE TOTAL HEIGHT OF THE JOINT IS NOT AN ISSUE IF THE SHANK AND BALL ARE DIMENSIONALLY SIMILAR TO STOCK. ALL THAT HAPPENS ABOVE THE BALL JOINT IS IRRELEVANT TO SUSPENSION MOTION.

The biggest benefit in my mind would be the ease of camber adjustment. For the front I do a relative change using a magnetic digital level on the hub. If you want to add 0.2 degrees just loosen the SPC joint and move it 0.2 degree in and tighten. It's so easy. I would think it would work the same in the rear.
Note for AP1: for the rear, SPC camber joints will only work with 17" wheels or larger.

I'd be afraid to use them without the plates though. The actual joints have a slot not a single hole and it's that plate that keeps them locked to one spot. I'd be afraid I'd have to use too much torque to keep them in place.

Maybe you could use them without the RCA plate... don't know.
