My adjusters were all frozen, so i'm taking the opportunity to upgrade to these hardened bushings. I bought a partial set of the Mugen ones when King had their black friday sale. It seems that King has all the bushings except the one i circled below. Anybody have any comments about going Mugen all around and Spoon for the circeled one?

Anybody have any thoughts on mixing the two?

EDIT: Oops, I got it wrong. It looks like both are missing the bushing opposite the one I have circled. From Spoon's diagram, it looks like the rear upper arm can accept the same bushings as the front upper arm. That means you can get the same set for either.

Probably isnt going to make any noticeable difference. Id go ahead and do it with stockers or powerflex or spoon if i were you.

Are most people using 2.5" or 2.25" springs and what top mounts/perches? I stumbled upon some relvalved koni's and I'm trying to figure out length and diameter of spring to buy (anyone selling? ).

Ooopse, I'll repost this on the damper/spring thread....feel free to delete.

I've applied marine grease on the poly bushings on my Z3 before i installed them. It lasted about 2 weeks before it started squeaking. I've looked a little, but it seems that there really isn't a long term method for keeping them from squeaking.

Is there enough space to get a layer of Teflon tape in there? I use Teflon tape for my poly sway bar bushing and it works great. I do PM once per year and replace it.

I know this may be throwing a wrench in things....
but i have some questions on the spc upper offset ball joints, has anyone else noticed that they are taller then the oem ones?

isnt this almost the opposite of what a roll center adjuster is supposed to fix?
what effects on handling may have taken place by essentially spacing the front or rear upper ball joint?
what affect does this have on the rules>

I just installed these this week. Tomorrow I can measure them and the oem ones since they are still laying around.

My only question was how much camber you guys can get out of the joints since they will not reach full negative camber without grinding away a little of the ball joint. I'm sure I will have enough to get -2.8 or so degrees, but would like to know that before taking it to get the alignment. (Google "rob robinette SPC ball joints" to see what I am talking about) Mine is limited to about 3/4 of the available travel at the moment.

when I put the SPC ones on, I already had my camber bolts maxed, after installing the SPC's at max camber, I was at something like -4.5, so I used the OEM adjusters to get - 2.8
