The link to the pic's for Hammerly's hitch is bunk!
I have this pic he sent me.
Here's my 2 cents worth...
I've read/seen several posts where the hitches that bolt to the bottom of the trunk well have torn/worn through the metal , this to me is just NOT a hitch that I want on my baby!
The Hammerly mounts to the diff mounting point (Very Strong) and then to the original bumper mounts via brackets, (Read no driiling or cutting).
The Hammerly is expensive but, it's also very strong, leaves little weight on the car when not mounted, can not be seen when not mounted, and takes a minute to mount and un-mount.
For what it's worth I just had an accident at 75+ mph that resulted in a lot of rapid wild turns as I kept the car on the freeway with only one front wheel. I did not expect to see the trailer behind the car when the wild ride was over, but as you can see from the pic below ... the hitch held up perfectly. I don't believe other hitches I looked at before buying this one would have.

I've seen exactly one post. And my experience has not shown this to be a problem (yet). I also think a large bar between the two holes instead of the fender washers would likely alleviate the situation...
I e-mailed Harold to see if these are still available. He replied is is still making them, but is in Australia until Oct 12th. Does anyone have other pics or prices paid? This hitch seems to be the way to go. Also does anyone know which aftermarket exhausts this will not work with?
I don't have pics, but someone has posted pics of my car. I can't praise Harold's hitch highly enough - it is flawless, and works beautifully. Any hitch that involves drilling into the car is not my idea of a well-engineered hitch.
