Default Update: Innovative Sucks Upgraded Motor & Trans Mounts

Who's using what?

Thoughts, concerns, experiences?

So far I've found Hasport & Innovative to be popular. Car is track only and gutted.

Car is 17 years old, 70K miles on the OEM mounts and ~50 track days, I've added an engine torque dampner but I'm still missing a shift here and there and I'm attributing that to the motor and trans still moving around.

I just tossed on Megan. I was surprised at how toasted my passenger engine mount was. I have not driven the car yet, but based on initial startup it is a significant change. The car used to "shudder" when turned off now it is solid. One downside is that my AC fan now rattles, hopefully that will go away when I get it off the jack stands.

I preferred the Hardrace of the Haasport mounts. They fit like OEM, are certainly stiffer than OEM, but not as dash rattly as the "streetable track mounts". I have a set of Haasport mounts I'd be happy to sell for cheap.

Here's a link to a review of the Hasport mounts in the street/62A durometer. Your car will shake like crazy at the stock engine idle speed. I simply bumped my idle up to 950rpm and problem solved.

I just put in Megan Racing engine and tranny mounts and ES diff mounts (I'd just get the innovative diff mts if I did it again) w/ 49k miles on my car. I have a post on it here: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/automoti.../#post24200100

Sorry I'm too lazy to rehash my post but it's a great upgrade for a track car.

I run the Innovative driver side engine and transmission mount along with my PTUNING passenger side engine mount. No issues thus far.

I have the 95a innovative in mine; vibration wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be but love how they feel on track.

Running Vibra-Technics motor mounts, and their build quality is amazing. They're not as solid/hard as Innovative's 75A, but definitely stiffer than stock. Very minimal vibrations, but shifts seem to feel better than the OEM mounts that I had.

I have the Spoon and have installed the Megan versions on friends cars.

They are an excellent upgrade in terms of fitment. Shifting is definitely more precise, there will be a little of added NVH but it's nothing like using Solid Delrin mounts where the mirrors become useless and irritating rattles start happening.
