Default What Rollbar to get?

I've read that the Elda rollbar is the way to go. But i've also read that they do not make them anymore. So what's the second best rollbar to get????

It may well be that there's currently no "good" rollbar solution available for the S2K.

Go Fast Lab has the rights to the Elda bar but they're having issues getting it produced; PM Ludedude for the latest (but don't hold your breath).

The Bitterman bar was always a limited-run piece (only a handful made), but it's theoretically possible you could get one fab'd up. PM desert tortoise (or email aaron@speedventures.net).

Last, there was a Mugen rollbar available a year or two ago (not the cage, but actually just a rollbar that did a pretty nice job of preserving the interior). King Motorsports might still carry it or have one lying around.

Of course, you could look around for any of those bars used.

Good luck,
John

There is also the Crushco bar. With the limited options you may have to actually consider it

I once considered selling mine to Sri, but I just couldn't let it go for a reasonable price. It cost me $2k installed. Since the shipping and installation are about 2/3 of the price of one of these bars, good luck finding someone willing to walk off and leave that investment behind. When I finally gut my car and get a full cage, I'd be more willing to part with it for a reasonable sum. I'm sure every Elda owner's in a similar situation.

i couldn't let mine go for a reasonable price either

i don't see how it is so hard to find a fabricator for the bar they need to get more of these things out

i remember people telling me, that bar probably doesn't do to much handling wise, it's just for a rollover.....well look at the finely cracked paint aall over it nd tell me thats not b/c of taking some body roll

And I guess CUSCO is the crushco that was referred to! Is that comment from experience with these bars or do they just appear shabby in there construction?
