What Rollbar to get?
what that link said, cusco's not functional, elda is you actually have to cut the plastic behind the seats in order to get the elda to fit! unlike the cusco or safety 21 that just bolt to the carpet behind the seats
if you want a functional roll bar you'll have to wait for the elda or as you said make your own.
read up on the elda bar around here more to see about where it is mounted. you have to cut the plastic behind the seat, towards to bottom as well as down behind the passenger seat to get the cross bar to bolt in. with the elda's installation you also have to bolt it to the inside of the fender well too!
i don't have any pictures of it but look at the other threads and it should give you some help

Good find! Do you know if those bars are scca and nasa approved?
On a side note, I've contacted Tinker219 (Ownever of Lovefab Inc.) about producing a roll bar for our car. He actually had a prototype for his car that met and surpassed SCCA and NASA specifications. Does anyone know how one can go about getting a bar certified for scca or nasa? If so and if there is enough interest, maybe we can convince Lovefab to produce a bar for our car

Neither SCCA nor NASA approve rollbars. What manufacturers do is build a bar that meets the specs in the GCR and then it's up to the regional technical stewards to check the bar during technical inspections.
