225/255 is a great setup for low and high speed stuff, even on the normal 7" and 8.5" wheel sizes, and should be even better with your wider wheels. For me moving from 215/245 to 225/255 the difference in feel was minimal. I would say 225/255 as it is a good match for your wheel size and suspension setup.

as i said earlier - there is a problem to get locally good 255 tires
i guess - going wider tire but worse compound doesn't make sense.

unless this changes - 245 it is

Maybe oinojo can comment, but the construction of a R1R isn't consistent through the tread. I did 235/255 Toyos and they fell off hard before the tread was 3/4 worn. There was some rumor that some decent size (235?) was good all the way through like the 195 size. I'd get those...

And surely you can have someone ship you a set of Rivals or Z2s. I'd think TireRack.com is big enough that they could ship somewhere. Or else buy tires and have them shipped to a UPS or FedEx store to then ship to you.

i'm crazy enough and once i shipped Z1.
i could barely clear them from customs - requests for MOT and other certifications were endless
i'm not doing this again

so......
the question is: go 245 square or keep 215/245?
