Where to buy a rollcage?
The Mugen cage, being 1400 bucks, isn't exactly cheap, but its not out of the question either. I doubt someone can take measurements that would cut the costs of a custom shop build. Best thing to do if you want your own cage built for a budget - maybe 1100? - strip out your interior - totally except for carpet and seats, and take it to a shop. Remove the plastic hoops, even the metal ones as well and just bring the stock metal ones with you. It should give them something to go by. But you'll need to cut plastic or go bare bones without plastic.
I posted this on Honda-tech too, but incase you didnt see it..
Look into custom builders, soft top will have to be removed completly for the rear braces, driver door will have to be gutted for nascars bars or atleast "trimmed" for a door bar, pasenger side will have to be trimmed at least to fit in pass side door bar, dash will have to be cut a little bit for the forward hoops. And your gonna need an OEM hardtop to be legal that is bolted, not latched down.
Oh yea, 3500 for T2 king cage including install, Im sure its an awesome cage but it is real expensive, you can probably find someone to do it cheaper.. once you gut the car the cage isnt that hard to fit in.
Lemme know if you have any more questions Scot

The Mugen (and Spoon cages) are not SCCA legal because the diagonal bar runs the wrong way. It's made for right hand drive S2000s. I believe the tubing is not thick enough to meet the SCCA standard too. I talked with Scott and King Motorsports about that several months ago...
