I am about to head out to Thunderhill on Oct. 17th and I ran into some issues mounting my Ztec Camera Mount. After taking the windscreen off, I realized the holes do not go all the way through. There are some pieces of plastic where the holes would be if they went all the way through. Do these come off or do I have to drill them out? If I have to do the later, that means I will not be able to use my wind screen again.

 

Strange. Mine go all the way through. On the inside of the secret compartment lid, the 'acorn' nuts pop out of the plastic with no difficulty by pushing from above with the screw you just took out.
