High speeds is where horsepower comes into play the most. Not torque. I would imagine that at high speeds if he is racing the 215hp version, is where he will really start to pull away.

Also don't forget about the s2ks gearing, which is probably a bit shorter than that of the 3.0 z4, which also helps in low end acceleration.
