Coming home from work today, exit off 53 in front of Carrera to get onto 90. The on ramp is around 1/2 mile long. He is on my tail the entire ramp, which makes little sense b/c clearly traffic is right in front.

Anyway the ramp exits to a long 2 lane straight and then onto the 3 lanes of 90. After the bend I punch it and go to the far left merge lane, he clearly didn't expect this as he was about 5 cars back or so, but then he proceeds to cross over the merge lane and onto 90 about 1/4 mile before he is supposed to. I continue to go as fast as I can up to around 120 at which point traffic is approaching, he was gaining, but never able to pass.

My top was down, he was a coupe. My only question is how much was I hurt by the top being down?

I have 4.77 gears, Aem V2 intake, and tuned vafc. I know his car was faster, but it sure didn't seem by much up to 120, which is about as fast as I'd car to go anyway.
