04 WRX modded
would i be able to beat my friend's 04 WRX or at least run with him (because i'm 98% sure he'd beat me)? he modded his entire exhaust and is fully catless. up pipe, downpipe 4" tapered to 3", stealthback (turboXS i think), and catback. i don't know if i completely screwed up his mod list, but that sounds about right...turbos and all their pipes and different sizes...
oh yea he's getting some cobb stage 2 reflash this week...

i've had way too many run-ins with the authorities for me to go out looking for races. but i know these people i post about so if i ever want i can run them when i want to. so i'd just like to have a heads up just in case. if i'm not allowed to post questions about possible street encounters, i'll stop tho

The short answer is, well, we don't know.
The OTS CS2 map for '04 is pretty decent, and should allow the WRX to run a mid 13 (low 13 with the Jesus Riding Shotgun mod
), however, that's saying he can drive. Also, I'm not the authority on the performance increase your mods have given you, maybe V can help you more with that.
I'd guess that it'll be a close dig race, depending on driving skill, and you might get him from a roll, especially over 98 mph (when he shifts to 4th).

i raced my buddies 05 wrx from a roll.
he has downpipe,up pipe, cobb stage 2 and stock exhaust but pretty much running no muffler, because he has a gap before his muffler making it loud as hell.
i take him like one car length after shifting into 5th. so you should be able to take him. from a dig i dont think you'll have a chance. AWD launch is friken crazy as hell omg.
