3 runs this week, coming from someone who doesn't usually run at all. A bunch of people went to a secluded area that has a quarter mile marked on the ground already... I decided to run cuz I was curious as to how I'd do against some evenly matched competition.

Ended up running a WRX wagon with exhaust, but no aftermarket tune I don't think, a turbo eg coupe tuned on a apexi neo, and a lexus is300 stick on the highway a few days after. I've never actually launched the car aggressively and nicely until this week, so i was pretty happy with the outcome.

-wrx wagon- revved to 6kish and side stepped the clutch on him and spun a bit then shifted while still in vtec and pulled from there. He launched too and stayed with me for the 60' or so and I ended up walking hard from second on. i was up about 3 cars then let off.

-turbo eg coupe- thought he'd put up a better fight, but same outcome as the first run except i had him from the launch on out and he never caught up...he blamed it on a crappy tune, and that his neo was changing the tune on him or something. it was a single overhead turbo setup he pieced together...didnt get to see what was under the hood, but still happy i won lol

-is300 stick with i/e - he did a little flyby on a dead street and we caught a light, but there was one car in front of each of us...I waited till we were past them, and he was in front of us cuz he went between the two cars first, then he gunned it...He was probably 2 cars in front when he hit it, and I reeled him in between 3rd and 4th gear and pulled on him like he was standing still. went to about 110ish and he ended up giving up and turning off.

not too shabby i guess. now i just gotta bring it to the track and see what i'm capable of on a real 1320. (my mods are in my sig)
