ap2 for DD/Track/Spirited driving, ap1 for Track/Spirited driving.
I'd agree with that but... for us college kids an ap1 is affordable where as an ap2 is in the future

ap2 will always reign over ap1.. exterior interior and the motor.. all i have is flashpro on mine and i beat ap1s daily.. only had one ap1 stay neck and neck with me.. so someone tell me how an ap1 is better then an ap2 when i rev out to 8500 rpms.. cause i know no one here wants to throw the 9k arguement at me

I'd be mad too if I had an outdated version of my car..

And just for the butthurts out there..

About a month after I got my car I ran a full bolt on AP1.. all I had was suspension and my intake lid removed with K&N drop in..

The AP1 had:

Invidia exhaust (dual)
T1R test pipe
Comptech icebox intake
Dc sport header
Stoopid racing "built" transmission
Inline pro diff kit
Pss9's

I think that was it at the time..

He got nitrous shortly after.. (75 shot & mugen ecu)

And from 25-112mph I was dead even with it.. Shift for shift.. (December of 09)

So please explain the validity of this belief?? (Honda made the AP2 for a reason.. And it wasn't to be inferior to the AP1's)

Let me guess.. It's because he wasn't tuned right??

^^^ the mods are crap. the only one that is good is the test pipe. lol. a "dc" sports header. HA! i would take oem over that think anyday. i do have a very quick ap1 for my ap1. i put down great power for the mods i had and ran great times. so idc, i have been bolt on ap2s before as well. EACH CAR IS DIFFERENT.

you have to be able to tell that guy in the ap1 was a moron for spending 3k + on a diff kit, and then buying a dc sports header...im actually loling.

short ram, test pipe catback, untuned.

they had a bone stock ap1 that day(dyno day) put down 199whp tops. idk, it seems fishy lol but hey, i trapped 103.79 (not flatshifting)
