I can just pull on the new base C6. A C5 is arguably slower then the new 2011 GT I do believe and the GT still can't keep up with me. Big difference in power and chassis between the two year corvettes. C5 is a dinosaur in stock trim from the motor to the chassis.

The LS3's are no joke.. But I'm sure you can punish those heavy LS3 camaro SS all day..
