ap1 vs. sky redline

Vette starts at ~44k. Your s2k cost ~33k plus you added the FI and probably a host of other parts which cost you ~7k and add about 5k for install and you have the price of a vette.
I don't care to get into this too much but the S2000 motor is defintely "better" than the current Elise/Exige motor. It makes 218 with a charger and 190 without. They should have used a K-series motor.
This kill story is pretty off topic lol.

S2k has a crappy top that cracks and breaks within 3 years. The plastics in the s2k aren't that great, don't kid yourself. The s2k has a harder chassis that makes normal driving unbearable after one hour. S2k also costs more than a redline sky. Arguments can be made that the s2k is a downgrade.
Just because you wouldn't have the car, doesn't mean the s2k is better. Better for you maybe, but not for everyone.
I could care less about quarter mile times. I'm not 16 anymore.

STIFFER suspension maybe?
You must have the "special" S2000 top that wears out in 3 years. Seems like 99% of S2000 owners haven't reported any problems with their tops.
Plastics in the interior? Again you must have a "special" S2000. All materials in the cabin with the exception of parts of the lower console are soft touch materials made out of vinyl or plastic. Fit and finish levels are high - a byproduct of being hand assembled.
S2000 unbearable after 1 hour? Maybe you should pay a visit to your local Buick dealer. At least the S2000 can be used on trips that exceed 1 hour in length, such as a weekend getaway because it can carry something we like to call "luggage". 5 cubic ft worth. Which is more than I can say for the Sky which would have trouble carrying anything more than a toothpick with the top down.

Doesn't take a genius to figure out that you know nothing about cars. The S2000 has a "harder" chassis

that guys an idiot, he stated in this thread he doesn't care about 1/4 mile time. Yet in my thread about beating a vette he said he gave his S to his wife because it had no power and was 6 cylinders too small for him. So basically he doesn't care how fast a car is yet he needs all that power.

Yes, I found the s2k to be unbearable to drive for more than an hour straight. Maybe I am an old guy, maybe I have a bad back, or maybe this car was made for you little deebs, but yes it is uncomfortable for any trip over an hour.
I would completely agree that the sky's trunk (if you can call it that) is completely useless. My inlaws have one and its a joke. But I didn't buy the s2k, nor would i buy the sky to haul crap. And for your information, it doesn't matter if you have the top up or down, there is still no space. Have you been in one of these cars?

Your post here shows your stupidity. I don't care about 1/4 time like you and your 12 year old friends. I do appreciate fast cars tho, which is why the wife now has the S and I have 6 more cylinders.

oh I know alex what is 1/4 mile time.
Anyone want to bet his wife drives the car way harder and faster then he ever could?

yeah, i have a special s2k. one where the soft top fell apart in two places. One where the plastic rear window (now glass) turned a lovely hugh of green. Where fit and finish was excellent until the strikers fell off..

Yet again you demonstrate that you have NO IDEA about what your talking about. Have you ever seen a Sky. Like I said trunk space is pathetic with the TOP DOWN, but the situation improves slightly with the top up. Why? Because lowering the top intrudes into trunk space, unlike in the S2000, Miata and other competitors. If your inlaws actually had one, you'd have known that.
I didn't buy my S2000 for Home Depot runs every weekend. But I DID my S2000 so that I could occasionally travel long distances, and so that I could as a daily driver without too much ado. And this means having the ability to haul luggage and groceries. 5 cubic feet is a passable amount. 0.5 cubic feet (in the Sky) is not - for many people, that completely rules out the notion of using the car as a daily driver.
"Harder chassis". 1/4 mile times don't matter yet you wanted a car with more power? You really are a complete troll.
