Hmm you sure it wasn't a 2.5rs? Neither rex or Sti sound like a fart can with any exhaust. They both have a very strong rumble. Unless they got equal length headers. Which is not something most people do.

I've had a few similar experiences with STI's...One of my best friends owns an '05 with a turboback exhaust...My I/E, Clutch/flywheel, VAFC S2k use to pull on his STI from a roll. A 1st gear roll would have me inching foward till about mid 2nd gear where he would just sit back on my rear bumper till 3rd gear, then through 3rd I would steadily be inching foward on him again, and again in 4th pulling a total of a car and a half to 2 car lengths by 125 or so (AP1). From a 2nd gear roll it would be even at the start of the race untill he had to shift into 3rd, where I would start inching away, and have about a car to a car and a half lead again by the end of 4th gear. And that's with his turboback exhaust...When he was bone stock and I had the same mods, I would steadily pull on him. From a 1st gear roll to the end of 4th I would have 2-3 cars atleast on him. Top end his car definitely ran out of steam.

He managed a 13.4 stock, and a 13.1 with the turboback and better tires.

Yeah, a Stage 2 Sti and a modded S2000 are no comparison. A modded STi and S2000.. the Sti will always take it unless the s2000 has some snail in the hood working hard!

they are fast. we will loose of the line but win from a roll. they are faster then evo's on a roll though...minus the 9

Really? So you think you would walk all over a basic Vortech supercharged S2000?

300 rwhp vs 330awhp= good race from a roll.

My friend wont even race my integra from a roll in his I/E sti. He was being a little bitch the other night, he would take off in first gear and then let off and the one time he did take off on the roll he got the jump and then I started to mow his ass down and he let off the second he saw me pulling.

yes, the but the STi's he was beating were people without a right leg and the other one was lacking a right arm....so, yes, it is possibly he "destroyed" them....
