But I'm learning here more and more...the S2K really cannot lose..and any evidence of it doing so is only due to lack of driver or some mechanical malfunction with said S2K
There's actually a fair amount of threads in this subforum where s2k's lose, but interestingly enough you seem to not comment on them so much, or don't see them somehow.

But whatever, I'll be fair, I'd like to see proof from both sides, because I honestly know very little about the SRT's capability. If I can learn more, that'd be awesome.

But people don't usually have proof, so it's all honor system. That combined with all the unknown variables usually means a prudent person would just leave it at that, but if it's all going to turn into a pissing match every single time, then whatever.

I don't know though, +2 passengers, makes it seem plausible to me. You think the SRT should still win even with +2? That's gotta be at least 200 pounds of feminine ballast.

I would post another vid of me yanking one with a 230lb passenger in my car and him with none....But there would be more trash behind it...So I'd rather not..

Im not much for the internet racing anyway...I just found it funny some of the threads outcomes with pretty much stock S2K's then relating my experience with modified ones and the times I've seen them put down in comparison to mine...There is even another member here that raced a local MS3 and lost to him pretty bad and I put a few cars on that MS3 from the same speed roll...So it's safe to say at least the local ones wouldn't fit the trend I see in some of these threads...That's all I was saying..

So post it, were all adults here. I don't mind losing or watching another S losing. It's all good and fun. I love the challenge.

Personally I happen to have a bunch of video's of my S2000 beating multiple SRT-4's. Some stage 1's when I was basically stock.. My buddies stage 2. I even have a couple of vids of my G losing, but right on the ass of a pretty modded up SRT. We don't have to point, yell, and shout. I'm sure we can all get along. Especially since you seem like a pretty civil SRT-4 owner. It's the D bag's that start the nonsense.

I've seen that video...was that SRT silver??? guy seemed like a ricer..

These cars are finicky...If you up the boost too much they will pull timing and youll feel faster but actually are moving slower..Not all cars are same, mine took up to 18 lbs before it pulled timing, I've seen others run lean on 17 lbs...

I see many guys running 18+ lbs with no mention of a map clamp to hide the boost from the PCM to prevent timing from being pulled...these are the guys that people run into and beat on pretty bad...Then you have others that know what they are doing, running less boost that end up walking said car that just beat ricer in the previous SRT...

FYI: There are plenty of stock turbo guys in the 12's with bolt ons, with 110+ traps

I'm no expert on the car, but you have to understand a lot of teenagers get this car and have no clue what they are doing, running 14's at the track, running the car with VAST amounts of boost leaks...

Boost leaks rob ALOT of HP

LMAO at 1.9 60ft's from a SRT-4!! Maybe if you said you had tires it would help your cause. Not to mention how bad your car will spin down low in its FWD, high torque application once more power and mods come into play. You'd have a better shot completely stock!

I call BS on that without some sticky tread.
If you'd like to see some of my old timeslips when I had my SRT, give me your email address and I'll send you a link (not a member, cant attach photos).

My best time On the stock tires was 1.98...once I had my 18's on yokohama parada's, my best time was 1.93...I have many 1.9X slips with the stock tires. Some people are just better drivers than others, who knows

And there is no way an SRT is going to trap 108 with a WGA and cat back exhaust...and at this level who cares about trap speed, I dont.

well it did...sorry to tell you...a 104 trap out of all your mods on that srt sounds like you had some issues with it (1mph+ on a stock time)

Maybe you were at a higher elevation...I dunno, I'm in Florida below sea level

Stock time? Since when did SRT's run 13.30's stock?

Trap speeds are going to be slightly slower when the car hooks really well.

Not to mention I was the first or second person to pull a 1.9x 60 ft. on the stock tires, and I was the first SRT owner to run a sub 13 second pass on street tires...heavy street tires for that matter.

Im at sea level.

I said stock trap speed....of 103 mph..

Like I said though dude, this internet arguing is irrelevant...my car frequents the tracks of SGMP, Bithlo, Moroso and Gainesville Raceway...So this isn't something I'm going to defend over the internet with that much effort...Not to mention plenty video of it hanging with 108+ trap cars from a roll on situation..

Keep in mind there are cars that for no real reason come off the factory line healthier than others...Not every S2K will pull a 103 trap stock, some will do 100 even seen some that can't go over 99mph...
