Default Beat an STI...........

I was driving My Girl's S2000 (NOT GF) last Friday night when a Black STI pulled up next to us at a red light. It's just a 2001 with I/E.

Lights turned green and we both krept to about a 40 mph roll. I was at 5500 rpm in second gear and the STI was just pacing me with our front bumpers even so I figured, he we go

Is it Melissa's car? Are you still dating that married woman, Melissa, behind her husband's back? I thought he would've shot you by now. I know I would've.

Plain and simple example of subpar shifting ability and the effects of turbo lag.. If the driver doesn't nail each shift he looses spool and has to wait for the turbo to come back on...

STI's aren't the same beast from a roll as from a dead stop.
