I was following some jerk in his non-ZO6 C5 corvette today on the way to lunch, and he swirving all around people and pretty much pissing everyone off. Well, i didn't plan to do anything but it just ended up that we were at a red side by side. His music was bumpin, and I gave him a quick darting glance, and he was just staring at me and starts punching his gas. So I look around the intersection to make sure there weren't any cops in sight, and then proceed to slowly creep my rpms up to 7k. He hears me, and starts do prepare his launch. Light turns green, I drop it. Wham!! A slight spin as both tires squeal, but a very amazing launch for me (I suck at it). The car didn't bog at all and I was thru 1st in a heartbeat. Into second and then into third. I was a good car and a half lenght in front of him until I shut down at about 75mph. That was a great feeling. That shut that punk ass kids mouth up. He asked me where my NOS button was. I just shook my head, laughed, and went on my way.

That was my best launch ever!! After i got to work, i checked my tread. I have new tires on my car, and I asked my s2k for its forgiveness as I apologized for treating her so bad at that light. She wimpered and as I walked away all I could hear was her exhaust manifold ticking as it cooled down. Fun tho!

I had several stock C5 for lunch and dinner before. Don't mess with a mod one, then you would be his lunch .

BTW, since ou have a SC+BOV you should've told the corvette guy that you have a twin-turbo S2k He would've probably bought it hehe. Damn I can't wait til Fast and the Furious part II hits the theather
