I'll bet he finally got smart, came to the parking lot to check out your car and saw the intercooler. Earlier, he probably ASSumed you were stock or had bolt-ons (knowing they do rather little for the S and didn't make much difference against his setup) and when he realized you were boosting, started making excuses to his gf that he either doesn't have time (deep down inside, he's scared to admit to her that he'd lose with what he has) or your thought, he's saving up money for more mods....

Either way, they started the talk and now they're nowhere to be seen. Whatever, some ppl just get a kick out of talking trash.
