If he's so cocky that he'll race anyone's car, as long as he can see it first (whatever that means.....I guess he is great at judging what's been done to a car and has a lot of experience....or just thinks he does), then I say you quietly bow out WHILE AT THE SAME TIME handing it to the fastest of your friends. You can even go 50% with your friend, to lessen the financial impact, but increasing your odds by having the larger hp car running. If you are in the race scene, I'm sure you know someone with a crazy fast car, we all do.

If he says no, you can always say, "Does it really matter who you run, me or someeone else? Your gf was talking smack saying you'd race ANYONE and that your Neon was the sh*t. I don't like to race for money, but my friend does. If you want to gamble, gamble with the gamblers! As your gf says, are you scared?"

 

If I was challenged by a Neon, I would laugh in his face.

 

If he is running a 60trim or a 60-1 He will be at 500whp and in the 11's. Even with the smallest turbo upgrade from AGP he be in at around 400whp. The SRT-4 is insanely fast with these mods. (mid 12's in the worst case for him).
