Default Cl Type S

I raced a new cl type S a few times on the highway last night. From 80-120 (started 3rd gear-ended 4th) I could barely pull on him at all. I started behind him and maybe gained a car length. But that car length didn't happen until around 110-120 or so. I've been kind of dissapointed with my car of late, it just doens't seem to have the pull it did when I first started VTECin around 600 miles. Sometimes winding out second gear vtec I feel like I could get out and push faster. There is almost NO vtec surge at all. Sometimes I feel like I'm driving my prelude. Would resetting the computer help at all? It runs smooth, but it just doesn't seem to be making 240 hp... maybe 220 at the most.

Resetting the computer is a good place to start, I'd expect. Hmm. How's your air filter looking?

Check your oil. Make sure its filled all the way to the top. That can make a big difference.

It's either you or the other car.

Your oil level is low.

Or

That CL-S has Comptech headers.

What should an 80 - 120 race typically look like with an s2k vs. cl type-s? Assuming they're both stock

I raced a CL-S the other day . First time it was rolling we were
both going about 40mph he floored it before me and I barely
caught up around 65mph and pulled on him in 3d gear . I was
kind of shocked on how fast the car was and my car is also
supercharged . I told him lets run off the line. Off the line it was
no match for me , I pulled on him by two cars end of 1st to 2nd
gear.So my point is your car is running fine you just have to race
him off the line .
