Oh man, I could fill a few pages with the idiotic things I did when I was 16-18. But lets keep it relatively simple.

I was 16 and coming back from the gym. I was sporting a 03 Taurus, but not just any ordinary taurus, this one rocked the 24 valve duratec motor with 212 horsepower. Furious indeed. So I'm switching from I-95 to I-295 in Jacksonville and as I approach the end up the ramp I hit the gas to ensure I wouldn't have to wait for traffic as the exit at this time was impaired for viewing. As I check my blind spot I push past 90mph and then look forward as I enter the fast lane. I glance into the median and notice a city cop whose radaring the other traffic; however, the roar of the 24 valves must have struck a nerve with him as I saw his reverse lights go on and then the red and blues light up. Being 16 and no doubt invincible I hit the gas and then crest the hill in the left lane and once he is out of sight, immediately smash the brakes and cut across 2 lanes to hit the roundabout exit underneath the highway. Still driving with gusto I onto Main St. I notice another officer turning onto the highway in the opposite direction, expecting defeat I slowed down and waited for the lights, but he continued on. I pulled into the nearest McDonalds and searched my car for enough money to go inside and get a soda, but alas, I was broke. Only defeated in my victory, I waited for the adrenaline rush to pass.....score one for the bad guys.

My next tale enters a year later when I had my 93 BMW 525i, a beast it was with 6 cylinders of German engineered post holocaust rage. 240 horsepower of autobahn tuned lunacy it was. However, the Florida years were hard on her, and the exhaust was split like a cheap hooker's legs from the exhaust manifolds to the tips. She screamed at even 1,500rpms. So this tale takes place after a day of hookey and shenanigans with vodka. Around 2:18 we are winding the day down and I'm driving my friends home. School had just let out and another friend turned right in front of me in his escort zx-2. My drunken passenger eggs me on to catch him, and the light goes green. I complied, as the motor turns past 5k rpms and somewhere around 50mph I check my mirror's in a drunken haze. From the blind spot where I was at the light a marked car lights me up. I pull into the house where I was going anyway and he follows suit. The next 30 seconds is a blur, I rush my passenger to get my insurance and registration out of the glovebox so I don't have to do it in front of the cop. I punch my friend whose passed out in the backseat in the face so he gets wake up....serious faces on. The cop runs to the vehicle angrily. "WHY THE HELL WERE YOU DOING 60 MILES AN HOUR!?!?!?!" he screams. My serious face fades and my inherent drunk cocky attitude surfaces, "hah!" I proclaim, "I wasn't doing anywhere near 60!". He takes my license and registration and walks back to his car, only to return depressed knowing that he hadn't a think on me. He starts, "well.....don't take off from the light that fast..." and walks off, defeated....score another one for the bad guys.

If you were wondering, I'm really bored at work.

I was on my way to Mid America Motorplex with my cousin and his pretty well established friends. I was only about 22 at the time and was just making it financially paying for my brand new 05 rio at the time.

These guys; Saab turbo, G35, M coupe, A4, and Elise didn't seem to have the same worries about speeding tickets as me.

In Iowa they would nail it for miles down the straight highways and easily be in triple digits. I was last in line and was trying to keep up when I look in my mirror and a State Trooper was right behind me lights-a-going. She pulls alongside at speed, looks at me, then goes up to the next car, the G35 and does the same thing. She looked at everyone of us and didn't do anything else after we slowed down. That was it. Wierd and lucky.
