Corvette beat... convincingly!!
QUIKAG,
More of a Honda guy than me? How do you figure? Sorry I don't take up a massive amount of signature space wastefully displaying the cars I "previously" owned. Who gives a rat's arse what I used to drive? I am not trying to impress anyone here like yourself. Just FYI, since you seem to care so much, maybe I should list the 85 Civic DX, the 91 Accord EX which I still have, and the 2000 Civic DX Hatchback I had before the Z28 in my signature. That way everyone here can know how much of a Honda guy I am. Oh boy....wouldn't that be grand. It would make me feel so warm and fuzzy inside.
This is how I REALLY know I shouldn't be wasting time replying to you anymore. Your lack of observation for simple things such as a signature, which you seem to find very important, is an oxymoron in and of itself. I have a stock S and I plan on leaving it that way for the duration of my ownership.
I think this is about the only thing we are going to agree upon and to know I am not mature in your eyes is a blessing in disguise. Anyone that has to come on to a Honda board and list in their sig how fast their Corvette is....well...lets just say I could never be that cool, or mature.

So, I think I recall you have an S/C S2000.
I think it's a big waste of money to mod S2000's because they just don't or can't put down the power. Even if you're over 300rwhp, you'd be lucky to run in the 12's, especially without breaking a halfshaft. Pretty sad if you ask me.
See, unlike some people, I have a life and am not a bitter little troll that mocks other people's signature lines. Also, I don't have the time nor inclination to scroll back up through the post to see your cute little sig to see what you drive. I don't really care. I apologize for presuming incorrectly that your S was supercharged.
The reason I have my previously owned vehicles in my signature on this forum (I don't on any other forum) is because of the diverse group of car enthusiasts this section attracts. If someone sees that I previously owned a car they were interested in or owned and had any questions about, I would glady relate my experience on knowledge that was gleaned while I owned the vehicle.
If you have an inferiority complex about how 'supposedly' fast my Corvette is, just ignore it. Don't waste your life away worrying about other people having faster cars than you. I hang out with a group of guys where pretty much every car is faster than mine. I could go hang out with the rice crowd and be crowned king, but I don't care. I don't feel any less of a man hanging out with people who own faster cars than me. I enjoy the comraderie and sportsmanship. I like fast cars. My life's worth is not in what kind of car I own or how fast it is.
If you have a problem with long signatures, why don't you rip on some of your fellow S2000 brothers in here because mine is pretty small. I don't even have an image. Of course, I really think you don't care, maybe your envious (that's not healthy BTW), but you're stretching to find anything to attack me when you should just accept the fact that you called BS earlier in this thread when it was, in fact, YOU that were wrong.
Deal with it.

Alright girls....kiss and make up.
Why don't you guys just leave this topic alone? The post was about an S2000 racing a Corvette....everyone agreed the C5 should take the S no problems thus figuring out it probably was an older generation Vette.
Happy? Good.

honda606 and 98gt281,
We all live relatively close to one another... Why don't we settle this in person? Let's meet at my place - right in the middle.
Tell me what cars you want and I'll get 'em (I'm thinking LS1 C5, LS1 Firebird, stock S2000... and a minivan). Then we can see what they can and can't do after a short trip to the Beltway.

Whadya say?
