Anybody come up against cars that pull up next to you, rev, then turn off the road?

Had happened to me a few times. It's funny. I look them in the eye, think to myself it's on. Look straight ahead, then to my right and they run away.

 

no.. but i've had people give up in the middle of a race.. soon as i'd start to pull they'd stop.. or the most hilarous.. was this IS300 w/ the high horsepower stickers n' everything.. after beating him badly he turned immediately like he was embarrased, hopin no one saw that.

 

A while back ago, this white Accord (lowered, has exhaust) cut me off for no reason. I pull up next to him, then he floors his gas pedal, and I downshift to play with him a little. After he slows down I do the same, I guess he didn't wanna play. Then all of a sudden he pulls up next to me and hits his gas, and again, I downshift to play along, then he quits after I'm about to pass him. After leaving him behind, I turn into another street, and behind me again is this blue Celica GTS. At the stop light, we revved on each other, then when the light turned green, he launched his car well, as I did the same, but I didn't push my gas pedal all the way down. After about 50mph he chickens out and slows down!! Argh, I just hate it when people slow down like that.

 

those are good stories. This would happen alot to me when I live in Long Beach

heh, making that emergency withdrawl for that Turbo kit so he can beat that pesky 4banger.

 

Has anyone ever seen a Beemer turn into a bank? I understand you need a pretty big bank to own one.

 

nah the best was tonight when me and my girlfriend went down to philly she said oh follow the cute guys in the 3000gt so i pulled a uie and pulled up next to them said hey whats goin on (we were at a red light stopped) he was liek hey blah blah and then we both saw the light turn green and i was liek yah can have our #'s if yah can catch me.........i was out........and well needless to say he didnt get our #'s....i think that he was surprised that a car with two girls in it would blow by him like that, his friend was laughin his ass off though.......pretty funny.
i will give him credit he put up a little fight.

oh yah and to go with the coward things put it this way i slowed down so that he could catch up to me so that we could give him a cute lil smile.....he wouldnt pull up next to us and turned down the next side street he could find.......seriously have a little more pride than that!

If they rev and turn off, its a show of respect I think. I've done it a few tiems to S2K owners, just to say, "Hey I see ya. Nice Car!"
