Long story - it has to do with a fellow S2ki user, hated even more than me (can you believe it?). UglyBonny, I think her name is.

If you have nothing to prove then why the constant bragging about your cars, etc.? If you have nothing to prove then we should not hear another word about all of your daddy's toys, should we? If you do continue to brag about your daddy's toys then you should expect some backlash, unless you are willing to show some proof. Honestly, how hard is it to snap a couple quick pics and post them? You have come up with every excuse in the book, some quite rediculous, so you have to understand where everyone is coming from. Seriously, if you can't see that your credibility as a man and a member of this forum is on the line then I really don't know what else to say.

 

Yes, I do understand where everyone is coming from, but frankly, I don't really care. I talk about our cars, just the way everybody else does. The only difference is ours are that much more rare or exotic. So what?

I don't go and pick on other people saying I'm better than them because of what my dad drives, do I? Nope. Do I ever shittalk other cars with my main reasoning the fact that we have "better" cars? Nope. I simply have a lot of "stories" to tell, and a lot of cars to tell them about. I don't see what the big deal is. I would hardly consider it bragging.

My definition of bragging would be responding to a "I lost to a 350Z in my S2000" comment with, "Well, if you would've had an E55 AMG like we do, you would've smoked his ass." And never have I made any comments along those lines.

 

A lot of "stories" with nothing to back them up. I put you in the same category with the trolls that come here talking about walking C5's in their civic with some bolt on's. Sure it's possible, but I and most people here are going to need to see it to believe it.

I meant I was done with all the BS in this thread. There wasn't any hostility in your post, so there'd be no point in ignoring it.

 

BTW, I'm anything but a troll - you should know that. And I never claimed to be walking C5s in a Civic (only a minivan ). My dad has money and has a taste for fast cars. Big deal.

I do own an S2000, which I track regularly at TWS (during BMW CCA, PCA, Z Club of Houston, test/tune days and various other events), and auto-x in Solo2 BS with the Houston SCCA chapter. I've met several Houstook S2ki members, but unfortunately, I was never very well received. My fault, though, for expecting them to be able to look past my young age and see me as a fellow S2000 owner/racer.

 

I hope you're not talking about me. I'm a white guy from Puerto Rico. I wouldn't mind doing Bonny though. By the way, I PM'ed her a few times and she seemed very nice.

 

You can find his pix in the Off-topic section. He's nothing more than an awkward looking geek. So I didn't feel right picking on him along with other guys.
