I don't exactly get what you're trying to argue here? So there is an 8 second s2k that can launch without puking it's guts out. There are also AMC Gremlins that can do the quarter in 7 seconds.

You can always polish a turd, but it's never going to have the all encompassing balance of a car that comes from the factory.

And for every 1 8 second s2k, there are thousands that are significantly slower and significantly more fragile.

I don't question a stock Z06 is more balanced then my S2000, but stock cars (short of a viper or Lambo/Ferrari, just dont excite me)

^ also I almost take offense to you calling my car a "polished turd", lol

it's soooooo pretty

Don't take offense. I'm talking about the gremlin mostly. And I currently have a polished turd myself.

Maybe I'm getting old, but I've come to realize that stock high performance cars out of the box are better than cars that have to be tuned to that particular performance level by the aftermarket. Hence why I'm parting my turd out.

^ your not getting old, well maybe, I am turning 30 and though I want to keep the S as a toy to beat on once a month, I would like ot have maybe a Z06, Viper, or GT3 with some minor minor stuff done

I apologize, but in my opinion, Joey's car is waaay better looking than a viper or the batmobile corvette. I have always thought the corvette looked like an elvira mobile

my opinion...

Keep up the good work, Joe! Keep the haters hating.

Most of these guys aren't even on your level......

haha thanks, I understand where they are coming from, it would be nice to have a 500hp and beat on it, go to dinner and let the valet park it, instead nobody can drive my car because the clutch is impossible to get used to, have to make sure METH is filled, have to let it cool down before I shut it off etc......... I love my car to death, I just have to dedicate it as a weekend toy, not my daily

Exactly, usually once considerable power is added driveability will be sacrificed.
