one thing that we should think about is that how much these Corvette, Porsche, Ferrari owners will be pissed and how much they will be embarassed when get owned by an s2k which they think is just a 4 cylinder honda.

Its the same story of the fast and furious scene. lol. Gota love s2ks

Dont they put that down stock? or is it 505 crank?

also, remember I did not get a "3 honk" type of run, When we did go from a roll about 10mph to 30 it was even, lol

also when he was slowly passing me, I was in mid gear, I could have downshifted, I basically try to take it "slightly" easy on the car, so I will go from 4,500RPMS and floor it instead of like starting at 6,000RPMS, where I make 100 more ft lobs of Torque and HP
They do 505 at the crank stock, but they are slightly underrated.

If I get owned by a S2K in my 997TT I'd know the S was modded, so why would I get pissed or embarrassed that I was beaten by a modded car? The people that gets pissed when they lose to a car of lesser value are not real enthusiasts and they can be driving any type of cars not limited to Corvettes, Porsches, and Ferraris.

Apples and oranges. A Z06 has good traction (1st gear goes to 60 and it has massive tires out back), it has a driveline built to handle the power, and it's chassis dynamics are balanced even with the massive horsepower numbers due to it's linear power delivery, suspension tuning, and tires. That's what makes it a complete car.

You can't say the same for any budget car built to go faster in a straight line. Fragile drivetrains, no traction, no chassis balance relative to hp output, and on/off power delivery due to massive turbos make for a lesser car.

^^ it's true. You can look up that s2000 that posted in another section about running an 8.2 1/4 mile. Watch how dead ****** straight his car goes. It has custom 4 link suspension out back. Look up one of his older passes where he runs like an 87 or 8.9. His car is all over the place.

And how would it handle a turn? Most of these 500whp S2ks are 12 second cars provided that;

1. You can coerce the owner to launch the car
2. Said car makes it down the track in 1 piece

It's a car that has a limited range of use. Highway pulls mainly. The Z06 is as balanced at 500hp as an S2000 is at 240. That's the difference here; It's not a one trick pony. It's infinitely more usable. Autocrossing, roadracing, street, you name it.

It wouldn't handle a turn. And neither would a 900 hp corvette.

and said car has a custom DRAG RACING SUSPENSION SETUP.

There are a lot of 500+ whp dedicated track s2000's run by a lot of companies.

So everything you say, is currently just annoying.
