Flat-out in a S2000
Last night I managed to max out in my S2000. I had my hard top removed just to shove off some weight.. but didn't make a very big difference it just felt a bit faster. I got it to 159mph, and it felt it was still striving for a bit more road to get 160 or 160+mph. The thing is that it pulled nice from 0-152mph .. the extra 7mph was coming out very slow. But hey a 2.0 4cyl N/A car that maxes at 159mph!
thats a big thumbs up to Honda
My acceleration is always done by revving @9K and dumping the clutch. I'll test my 1/4 and 0-60mph today.

Yup I tried both and guess what, same top speed! I really began thinking its because of the hot weather here or the poor octane gas that we have here. Yes I do know that all car gauges are off-gaurd .. some by alot and some just a bit. Did somebody say 160+mph!!?? what do you mean 165..6...8??mph
i couldn't shake an '02 Maxima SE off my rear bumper.....yuck!
thats funny because i raced my friend's 02 maxima se (auto). only from 60 -120 mph though. i had a passenger and the maxima didnt.
i had it in third gear at 60 mph. told him to step on it. he got the initial jump, about half a car. i then, slowly kept passing him in a steady pace. i shut down about a car length. it was fun playing with 255 hp car.
i guess, i can expect the same performance from the altima 3.5
